Bookkeeping Consultants (San Francisco Bay Area):

Position description:

Immediate opening for a bookkeeping consultant position 8 - 20 hours per week. The job includes working onsite with clients, doing accounting data entry: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and inventory.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, proficient at QuickBooks and Excel, 2+ years of accounting experience. An accounting degree will be considered a plus.

You will have time to work with other established and successful independent consultants who will help you to build your client base as well as answer your technical questions. You will be trained on proven business development, marketing and sales processes.

Our goal is to support you in being successful at helping small businesses through effective financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, accounting system set-ups and training of small business owners in effective bookkeeping techniques. We will train you on accounting processes & software, as well as marketing & business development processes. We will provide you with administrative, accounts receivable, business development and marketing support.

Ideal Background:
Ideal consultants have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, QuickBooks and other small business accounting software knowledge, outstanding communication skills, strong attention to detail, a high degree of flexibility and public speaking experience.
